A very successful advertising partnership receives a demand letter from an attorney for their lead sales person demanding $425,000 for a sexual harassment claim. The partners learn through rumors that the claimant and two other employees are developing their own business plan to start a competing agency.
TDA does the following: TDA investigators meet with the partners and their attorneys to develop an investigative strategy. The subject employees are placed under surveillance after thorough Background Investigations and Investigator’s observe them visiting potential clients who now do business with TDA’s client. This information is given to the attorneys who begin a temporary injunction. TDA recommends we locate and identify the computers utilized by the subjects. Though the computers have been reissued, they are located and subjected to a forensic exam of their hard drives. The hard drives are examined and numerous deleted items are recovered to include, a business plan for the new company and the proprietary client list that the subjects were using to develop business for their company.
