A concerned parent of a high school teenager receives a call from the local police agency notifying them that a student in their child's class, being treated for severe depression, has made threats to a medical professional to kill their child and several others.
TDA does the following: After meeting with the parents, TDA investigators conduct a thorough Background Investigation on the subject and his parents. TDA learns that his parents have institutionalized the subject. TDA meets with school staff, the local police and parents to discuss investigative plans and options. The subject is released to his parents and placed under surveillance where TDA learns the subject has now been enrolled in an alternative school. TDA's psychologist meets with all parties and determines that the course of action is appropriate. TDA continues to monitor the subject who remains in the alternative school. All the parties are contacted and progress reports are made. After more monitoring it is concluded that the subject is responding to treatment and the threat has significantly decreased.
